Context
WHITE has been a key European platform for independent fashion for more than 20 years.
But as the industry evolved, the traditional trade-show model was no longer enough.
The opportunity was bigger than expanding the event. It was about redefining what a fashion platform could represent — for brands, buyers, creatives and the wider cultural community.
The Platform Shift
WHITE was already relevant within the industry.
The challenge was making that relevance broader, more visible and more cultural.
That meant rethinking:
how the platform showed up beyond the trade show
how its different venues and formats connected
how it communicated with both industry and consumer audiences
how WHITE could become a year-round cultural reference, not just a seasonal event
The platform was established.
The next chapter needed a new narrative.
The Shift
We reframed WHITE from a traditional fashion trade show
into a multi-venue cultural and commercial platform.
The shift wasn’t about making the event bigger.
It was about making the ecosystem more connected, more relevant, more open.
A new model emerged across four venues in Milan’s Tortona Fashion District:
Superstudio Più as the core professional trade show
BASE Milano with WHITE BOX and WHITE NUVOLA
Magna Pars with WHITE MORE
Hotel Nhow with WHITE On the Beach
Four venues.
One district.
One evolving idea of what fashion week can become.
Execution
Back to Apollo became WHITE Milano’s digital and content partner, working across:
brand vision
communication
creative direction
digital content
cultural storytelling
Our role is to build a coherent narrative around the transformation — from the identity of each venue and format to the way WHITE speaks to designers, brands, buyers and its wider community.
Every piece of communication is designed not as an isolated campaign,
but as part of one larger cultural story.
The goal is not simply to communicate what WHITE does.
It is to define what WHITE stands for.
Outcome
The new chapter positions WHITE beyond the boundaries of the traditional B2B fashion fair.
A four-venue fashion district replaces the single-format trade-show model
B2B, B2C, lifestyle, retail and cultural experiences become part of one ecosystem
WHITE expands its relationship with audiences beyond buyers and exhibitors
The platform creates new opportunities for collaboration, storytelling and community participation
WHITE is no longer evolving only as an event.
It is evolving as a platform.
Insight
The future of fashion platforms isn’t about adding more space, more brands or more programming.
It is about creating more meaning between them.
The strongest platforms don’t simply serve an industry.
They help shape its culture.
